Victory Garden

Located on the Fairfield Hills campus, Wasserman Way, Newtown

Established in 2011 by the Town of Newtown the Victory Garden is managed by the Parks & Recreation Department. The mission of this community garden is to grow and deliver fresh vegetables to Newtown’s various food pantries.

Each year The Garden Club of Newtown plants tomatoes, beans, peas, squash and a variety of other vegetables and herbs for donation to our local food pantries. Volunteers from The Garden Club of Newtown plant, maintain, water and harvest four rows of vegetable crops; and enjoy the rich reward of vital community service.
